Deborah Distler Drake joined the Team Maggie Board in the summer of 2016.  She has a burning desire to help others in the fight against Cancer.  She lost her Mother to Breast Cancer, a close friend to Colon Cancer, and has a friend in remission from Leukemia.  She has brought together groups of young adults who have been diagnosed with cancer so they have a support team in place when they go into treatment.  She has also successfully set up fundraisers in the Detroit area which bring awareness to the unique challenges young adults face when diagnosed with cancer.   Deborah was honored to join the Team Maggie Board.  She works for Internal Medicine Physicians in the Detroit area as an X-ray Technician.
